But I have to disagree with some of your advice in this post. I think it would be very difficult for someone who doesn't know anything about the Internet to make any money at all just by putting up a blog or a simple website. Without the traffic generation skills & the ability to monetize that traffic you'll go nowhere fast. And to try to learn these skills on your own can be tedious, time wasting, and very challenging, to say the least. I applaud you for being able to do that on your own. But you are surely a rare instance. In my opinion, a newbie must take the time, and even invest some money to learn the skill to making money online. But you do need to be careful about what you buy. There is a lot of junk out there. The internet makes it easy for someone to present themselves as an authority even when they've never made a single dollar online. The best thing for a newbie to do is to find a system that works, & work the system. People fail, good system don't. Look at McDonald's. Does anybody think they have the best hamburgers? What they do have is a system that works, every time, to produce predictable results. I've found a system that has allowed me to go from confused newbie to making real money online, while I continue to learn & get better at online marketing.
